My swing – November 2010

If you’ve been paying close attention you’ll know that I’ve been having an exceptionally good few days since the last dip in form, and I’ve now got my 18-hole record down to 83 and my nine-hole record to 40. Which means I’m realistically thinking about breaking 80 any time now. An essential feature of my progress has been a far more functional and repeatable swing. Sorry if this is a bit hard to view, but rest assured it’s one of the best swings I’ve made of late compare to some of my earlier work in the ’swing videos’ category! Here I made a perfect strike: the ball went right at the middle of the 12th green, and for the record I’m using a six-iron.
It’s definitely much smoother than before. It also doesn’t seem like you’re trying to smack the stuffing out of the ball. Keep it up.
That…is the swing of a champion. Never seen a double handicapper with a swing like that.
